Central location and comfort in the bedroom.
Unfriendly and incompetent receptionists (they didn't know what was the service charge for international calls and laundry in their own hotel...). We decided to have breakfat around 10am, but the staff were lazy refilling the food and there wasn't much left for us to eat (so it is a waste of money paying for this service)...Internet wi-fi was not free as in most three stars hotels and wifi did not reach the 2nd floor bedroom we stayed in (more waste of money). Otherwise hotel is good but the staff are a real shame.
Okay hotel in good position - very small room not very good value we were quite disappointed
Small room and tiny bathroom. Desk staff were efficient but not particularly helpful - we were there during the volcano 'incident' and really needed some help and information - they were not really interested in helping us at all!
The hotel's central location.
Unfriendly and unhelpful staff in the restaurant at dinner. Apart from us there were two large parties to be served and it was made obvious that we were an unwanted distraction, even though we were residents. We left without ordering and ate at a friendly restaurant bar on a corner directly opposite the hotel's front door.
The location of this hotel could not be faulted. Just yards away from the magnificent Plaza Mayor and within walking distance of all the key sites of interest. Great restaurants nearby. Comfortable hotel with a lovely ambience. The staff are pleasant and helpful with the exception of the guy who serves breakfast. He was as miserable as sin!I would thoroughly recommend staying at Hotel Zenit Imperial.
The personal welcome by the manager outlining the major attractions of the city and answering any questions was a brilliant start to the visit. All the staff were friendly. There was secure parking within 2 minutes walk from the hotel under the Plaza Mayor (17 euros for 24 hours). There was plenty of hot and cold choice at the buffet style breakfast. The hotel has its own restaurant with a discount for residents and, although we didn't make use of it, it seemed very popular. The rooms were large and comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent - central for everything including the many delicious tapas bars and restaurants.
Perfect location. Nice interior.
The staff could have spoken Engligh. Almost none of them could.
We liked very much the location (so close in Plaza mayor and all the nice restaurants) and the friendly welcome by the hotel owner, Roberto, who explained to us everything about the sights and the restaurants of the town. I am so sad that we did not visit the paella restaurant that Roberto suggested, but we'll definitely do that the next time! Hotel was nice and clean and I especially liked the atmosphere of city at night (many people at the streets, bars and restaurants until late at night). Not all hotel personnel can speak English well, but this is not a big deal: we got used to this at Valladolid and I it's good that I started practicing my spanish!
Satellite TV was almost impossible to watch almost each of the 4 days that we stayed: signal had periodic interruptions.
The service was perfect and very gently - when I go back to Valladolid I want to stay in the same hotel - the situation at a few meters of the Plaza Mayior coudn't be better -
Great location, managar was very helpfull, not expensive at all, the room was comfortable and clean
Except for the manager, the staff did not speak English and was not always friendly. The WIFI network did not work properly
The Zenit Imperial was a very comfortable hotel in a terrific location just off the Plaza Mayor and therefore a short stroll to most of the nightlife in Valladolid. My room was clean and tidy and spacious. Although i didn't spend much time in the hotel I did notice that in the evening the hotel bar had a pleasant and inviting ambience.
Central and with a public parking nearby. Good for a short stay and a sight see. You get waht you pay.
It need some improvements in the breakfirst (too simple), and the room needs a separation beteween smokers and no smokers
The room was beautifully decorated, elegant and airy. The bathroom was fully equipped and comfortable. The hotel staff were very helpful and the food of excellent standard. We will definitely be returning to this hotel, thank you for a lovely, friendly stay.
Friendly staff, free WiFi, cheap public parking around the corner, close to plaza mayor.
It is not a luxury hotel, but that is normal giving the price you pay. The only thing I missed is no air conditioning
Good location for access to town. Good view considering location. Nice breakfast.
We were warmly welcomed and the manager was extremely helpful in marking on a map the key places to visit in Valladolid.
I would have liked there to have been a kettle in the room for making tea/coffee.
